Reduce Sun Damage, Improve Pore Size, and Boost Skin Health
As we go through life, skin is exposed to numerous hazards, some controllable and some not so controllable. Factors that are modifiable include over-exposure to the sun, alcohol use, and smoking which are all well known to accelerate natural signs of aging. However some factors remain unavoidable, including genetics, gravity and getting older which create fine lines and wrinkles, particularly around the mouth and eyes.
For many years, dermabrasion, chemical peeling or surgical face lifting have been used for the treatment of facial wrinkles, brown spots and age spots. Now, Fractionated carbon dioxide (CO2) laser is considered the "gold standard" of skin resurfacing. It offers dramatic changes in skin texture with a single treatment. It is highly effective in improving skin texture, shrinking pores, smoothing out acne scars, improving pigmentation problems such as melasma and brown spots, and reducing fine to moderate lines and wrinkles. The face, neck, chest, hands and areas of surgical scars are the most common areas of CO2 laser skin resurfacing treatment.
After a CO₂ laser treatment, exosomes can significantly enhance healing and skin rejuvenation. These powerful cell messengers help reduce inflammation, accelerate tissue repair, and boost collagen production—leading to faster recovery, reduced downtime, and visibly smoother, more radiant skin. It’s the perfect synergy for optimal post-treatment results.
Following a CO₂ laser treatment, salmon sperm DNA (PDRN) offers remarkable regenerative benefits. Rich in nucleotides, it helps accelerate skin repair, reduce redness and inflammation, and deeply hydrate the skin. This advanced therapy supports collagen synthesis and cellular renewal, promoting a faster recovery and a smoother, more youthful complexion.
PRP or plasma injections are another excellent addition to your Co2 sessions. The use of plasma in skin rejuvenation is becoming increasingly popular. Why? PRP provides a simple, safe, and effective way to regenerate the skin using your body’s own natural growth factors.
Before going ahead with the CO2 Laser Resurfacing, Our skin specialist will discuss your concerns, lifestyle habits and skincare during this appointment. It is essential for us to understand when advising on the most suitable treatment and the expected number of treatments.
Before starting the treatment, we will advise the most appropriate steps to ensure you get the best results.
Some clients may need a 1-2 week course of skincare before starting. This will be discussed during your consultation. Following the consultation, a personal treatment plan will be created for your records. Images will be taken for our records to allow us to track your progress.
During the treatment, you will lie comfortably on the treatment chair, where the procedure begins.
Your skin will be cleansed with a range of mild medical-grade skincare products. This will ensure that the skin is prepped, clean and bacteria-free. Once the skin is thoroughly cleansed, a layer of topical anesthetic will be applied to the treatment area to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible once the topical anesthetic has worked its magic, the treatment will begin.
Immediately afterwards, your skin will be warm, sensitive to the touch and appear firm and red, as though you have moderate sunburn. Our skin specialist will use some ice to cool the skin.
Once you are comfortable and our specialist is happy, a light moisturizer will be applied, and the treatment will be completed.
